Other examples are the harvesting of olives and grapes, the making of wine and cheese or oil and raki, the shearing of sheep, we could go on and on. For all these occasions we can arrange a day with our guides where you will get a real taste of Cretan culture and tradition through our family. We will spend some time here to enjoy a barbecue and enjoy the clear waters while we swim and snorkel to our hearts content. From this part of Dia we can also take a stroll and cross the island by foot to the north side. Our boat trip continues past the north side where we will pass high rock formations and travel through deep waters (60 meters!) aiming for the small island of Paximadi right next to Dia.
